Position and Responsibilities

As a Services Operator 2, you will be a member of the Site Services team and will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site roads and airport in a safe and effective manner.You will assist in training, mentoring, and coaching junior operators and provide support to other trades on site. You will troubleshoot equipment problems and test equipment after maintenance repairs.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
• A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience on a variety of mobile equipment including haul trucks, concrete trucks, D8 dozer, M14 grader, Loaders (930, 950, 972), skid steer, and 320 excavator.
• Willingness to perform manual labor as required.
• Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
• Assisting at the batch plant with driving concrete trucks and willing to be trained, for operation of the batch plant.

Assets:

• Valid Class 1A driver’s license
