Responsibilities:
You must have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments, as well as a deep understanding of the legal system and its processes
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, and legal professionals to ensure that cases are managed efficiently and effectively
At least two years of experience in personal injury case management or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to personal injury cases
Ability to manage a caseload and multiple priorities simultaneously
No travel: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Provide case management services to clients, including assessment, planning, coordination, and monitoring of services
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other service providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate resources and services
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and requirements
- Experience in crisis management and ability to handle high-stress situations
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff members
- Knowledge of workforce development programs and resources
- Familiarity with child welfare systems and processes
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and treatment modalities
- Proficiency in social work principles and practices
- Experience with motivational interviewing techniques
- Ability to provide guidance and support to clients in childcare matters
