Camden County Public Service Authority is Hiring a GYMNASTICS COACH Near Kingsland, GA

Are you passionate about cheerleading and gymnastics? Do you have what it takes to coach student-athletes in competitive techniques to prepare them for events and competitions? Look no further! We are seeking a coach to join our team and help us achieve success.
As a coach, you will work closely with cheerleaders and gymnasts during practices, events, and competitions. You will monitor each athlete, recommend safe techniques, and supervise warm-ups. You will coach and instruct cheerleaders and gymnasts, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. You will act as a team representative and promote cheer and gymnastics by communicating with parents, visitors, and others.
In addition to coaching, you will help maintain equipment, supplies, and uniforms and help develop and sustain positive relationships with participants and coaches. You will encourage and promote member and parent involvement and convey information about Cheer and Gymnastics programs and schedules to the public.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others. You must be able to lift equipment and spot children and possess self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to deliver constructive criticism. You must also have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents and students.
This position offers a variable schedule and the opportunity to attend staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve your coaching performance. You must be eligible for USASF Membership and Certification and pass a full background check and USASF greenlight screening.
Duties are primarily performed at the Gymnastics Center during routine practice times on the afternoons, nights, and weekends. You may be required to attend meetings, workshops, or events during normal business hours. This position works closely with others as well as independently.
