JOB OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Stock – Maintenance Warehouse works under the supervision of the Senior Director of Facilities in order to maintain District inventory and distribution of tools, supplies, and equipment at the Maintenance Warehouse Stockroom.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
At least 5 years of full-time work experience in inventory control and distribution management
3-5 years of management/leadership experience, in operations in a school district (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records
Computer skills to maintain inventory records; ability to use a computer for word processing, data management, and communications; proficient typing skills
Experience with analyzing inventory trends implementing inventory and maintenance software (School-Dude inventory direct preferred)
Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Major responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Designing and implementing inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
Managing inventory process requests using inventory management software ( SchoolDude preferred), for all general supplies or resources ordered by Maintenance, Custodial and Central Office teams
Overseeing all work orders and requests for the tools, supplies and equipment for the Operations Teams
Developing processes to document all shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory
Creating and maintaining master inventory record of tools, supplies and equipment at Warehouse from/to the Warehouses and to/from the various District sites
Preparing weekly/monthly reports on request of the Supervisor to apprise Operations Team of status of supplies and equipment inventory, and the completion of associated work orders
Conducting cost analysis of suppliers to ensure fair market value and effective cost deals from vendors/suppliers
Analyzing trends in supply/demand of inventory and providing report to Supervisor on key findings
Evaluating, training and supporting Stock Clerks
Being flexible and available when called upon by the Supervisor or Central Administrators after the regular work day
Supporting special projects and initiatives in other departments throughout CCSD on an as-needed basis
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Supervisor’s designee

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 pounds to pack, load, and deliver orders; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Frequently lifts items weighing up to 50 pounds, including raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position
Frequently bends and twists holding items weighing up to 50 pounds
Climbing/balancing – maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
Stooping – bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
Crouching – bending body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
Reaching – extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Subject to atmospheric conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
