Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association; current certification from the National Board for Certification in occupational therapy; current and continuous licensing to practice occupational therapy from the Health Occupations Program of the Minnesota Department of Health. School setting experience preferred.
Successful background check is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Occupational Therapists provide services to children with exceptional educational needs, and to educational staff when children require occupational therapy to benefit from special education. Occupational therapists work to improve, develop, restore, or maintain a childs's active participation in self-maintenance, work, leisure, and play in educational environments. Consistent with state and federal law, school Occupational Therapists are related service personnel.

Specific Tasks:
Provide occupational therapy services in Cambridge-Isanti for students B-2 through transition. Working knowledge of current best practice, special education due process, technology, and knowledge of assessment tools. See job description for additional information.

7.5 hours per day
