Position Summary

The District Revenue Coordinator supports the Community Managers in performing the day-to-day operations for a manufactured home community with a significant focus on rent collections and revenue management.

Duties and Responsibilities

What you will do :

The qualified individual will work as an integral part of the operations team to perform the following essential job functions :

  • Works in coordination with the Community Managers to ensure all rents and other applicable fees are billed and collected.
  • Follows up with delinquent resident accounts via phone, email, and door knocking on a day basis.
  • Assist residents with setup and payment options in our online portal.
  • Provides support for Manage America administration, auditing, and resident ledger reporting.
  • File all evictions in accordance with state and local laws and stay abreast of changes in state specific requirements related to rent collection and the eviction.
  • Work with on-site staff in developing and implementing programs to achieve monthly revenue, delinquency, and collection efficiency targets.
  • Answers questions, explains policies and procedures, shares information and encourages open communication within the communities.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

What you should have :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years of property management experience
  • Collection experience preferred not required
  • A passion for delivering a best-in-class marketing, sales, and leasing experience.
  • Computer skills desired : Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Software.
  • Strong management and operational skills including customer service; public relations; performance management.
  • Ability to be available to residents and community needs after hours.
  • Must maintain open office hours while physically working from the office location.
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and verbal.
  • Excellent computer literacy in MS Office suite of products and software applications including Yardi, Rent Manager, Back Office, and Manage America.
  • Must maintain a valid driver license and clean driving record.
  • Must maintain an active and working personal mobile phone.
  • A growth mindset; always testing and learning.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, and reach.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move more than 20 pounds.
