Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Missoula, MT
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Type: 13 weeks contract with possible extension

Job Description:
Cambay Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide excellent patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of sonographic principles, patient interaction skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations of various body parts, including obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, vascular, and small parts.
Interpret and analyze sonographic findings, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.
Prepare and position patients for exams, explaining procedures to alleviate concerns and ensure comfort.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to discuss findings and assist in patient diagnosis and care plans.
Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Keep accurate patient records and update the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Participate in continuing education to stay current with technological advancements and industry standards.

Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
Experience: [Specify years of experience, e.g., "Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist."]
Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding of sonographic principles and practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in specialities such as OB/GYN, abdominal, or vascular sonography.
Experience with specific ultrasound equipment or EMR systems.
