**Shift**: 3x12s, Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

**Approved Hours**: 36 hours per week

**Pay Range**: $55 to $60 per hour

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing to join our team for a 13-week contract in Peoria, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and provides a competitive pay range of $55 to $60 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to protocols and procedures.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current RN license for Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Full COVID-19 vaccination.

**Preferred Skills**:
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
