CAM Industrial Solutions is Hiring a Site Manager Near Lima, OH

The Site Manager leads the CAM Industrial Solutions site organization and is the direct point of contact for site client management. The Site Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the CAM Industrial Solutions site functional groups including: Maintenance, Capital Projects, Turnarounds, Payroll, Health Safety and Environment, Quality, and Logistics. It is a key position that ensures alignment and compliance in the applications of CAM Industrial Solutions standards and best practices across all site teams.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interfaces with Company, Trade Union and Client management to ensure that project support functions operate within company standard practice and procedures and contract provisions.
  • Develops annual fiscal budgets for the site and stewards to budgets with monthly fiscal reporting and review
  • Manages financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company and client’s interest.
  • Manages procurement, expediting, and subcontract administration functions of the project and ensures these functions are performed.
  • Develops KPI targets with client management and guides site teams to meet targets
  • Create and promote a continuous improvement culture amongst the CAM Industrial Solutions site teams, by assisting site leadership in identifying opportunities and developing initiatives
  • Leads monthly or quarterly stewardship meetings with client management team to review KPI performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establishes and maintains an effective and efficient communications system among project staff team and client to ensure an accurate and timely flow of information in accordance with the project requirements.
  • Communicate and promote the HSE concept to all CAM Industrial Solutions employees which includes near miss reporting, observation/intervention audits, housekeeping audits, and personal safety attitudes.
  • Ensures compliance with all Corporate, Regulatory and Client policies, rules, and procedures for all CAM Industrial Solutions activities on site.
  • Ensures performance management of employees is applied in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Secures and maintains a quality workforce, abiding by the terms and conditions of labor agreements, respecting maintenance generally and to the plant location; assure labor stability by resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Coach, mentor and supervise the various department managers and superintendents on site in the fulfillment of their assigned duties.
  • Establish consumable, tools, and rental equipment inventory controls to minimize wastage and hold individuals accountable for usage.
  • Develop succession plans for senior site leadership positions and ensure plans are being developed and implemented across all other lines of supervision / management.
  • Seek opportunities to engage the services of other CAM Industrial Solutions companies and affiliates to the benefit of the Owner and their operations, thereby providing the full-service capability, new products, and enhanced methodologies of the Corporation.
Qualifications
  • Ability to pass DISA drug, alcohol, and background tests required for site access
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at elevations, work in outdoor locations with exposure to heat and cold, and periods of sitting in office setting.
  • BS in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or extensive relative experience (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management position (superintendent level or above) in the industrial construction and/or maintenance field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial construction and/or maintenance field
  • Experience working with Building Trade Unions in a partnering relationship
  • Demonstrated safety leadership experience required including experience
  • Demonstrated business management skills, understanding of managing a profit and loss.
  • Experience with Microsoft products essential
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, P6, Power BI preferred
  • Available to travel as needed
