Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Advisor to join our team. The Academic Advisor will provide guidance and support to students, assisting them in achieving their academic and career goals.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct one-on-one advising sessions with students to discuss academic progress and goals
- Assist students in course selection, degree planning, and registration processes
- Provide information on academic programs, policies, and procedures
- Support students in developing educational plans aligned with their career aspirations
- Monitor student progress and intervene when academic issues arise
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure student success
- Utilize student information system to help student acheivement

Skills:

- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with individuals and groups
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of Education administration practices
- Ability to mentor and guide students through their academic journey
- Proficiency in recruiting and interviewing prospective students
- Excellent communication skills to educate and advise students effectively
