Are you passionate about using your technical skills to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ? KWAVE, a commercial radio station licensed with the FCC and a wholly-owned ministry of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our technical support and planning for broadcast operations.
Your Role:

• Provide technical support and planning for the broadcast environment of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
• Ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
• Design and develop documentation for computer-based solutions and analyze systems for various departments.
• Install and maintain video, audio, and other equipment associated with radio broadcasting.

• Dedicated to supporting the mission of KWAVE and Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa through technical excellence.
• Experienced in broadcast engineering with strong leadership skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of broadcast engineering experience.
• Strong leadership experience with deep knowledge of FCC compliance, Radio Broadcasting, RF & Broadcast Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Available to work with short notice including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
