Your passion:
The Groups Ministry Assistant assists with various Groups Ministry projects and processes. This position will primarily act as key support to the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale / Staff Groups Leaders to assist with coordination, administration, logistic, and facilitation of key communication products and materials for Groups meetings, Connect Experience and Classes programs.

You will:
Create, implement and manage effective systems to support a growing Groups Ministry at all campuses to reach goals and objectives
Lead small groups and disciple new leaders throughout the year to help reproduce future new groups
Provide leadership alongside Groups Pastor to all campus Group directors and leaders in Groups Ministry
Manage and run ministry reports using Ministry Platform in partnership with the IT team.
Work with IT/Web team to provide tech support, training and resources to group leaders and members.
Provide Group administrative support by handling monthly receipts for the Groups Team and manage Group Team calendar.
Work to enhance the experience in Groups, CONNECT and classes
Provide customer service to new and existing group leaders.
Own Group Team communication to all campus and global group leaders.
Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve our goals
Create new and innovative ways to grow Groups Ministry at all campuses.
Coordinate Groups Team celebrations, special events, and team onboarding.
Perform other department-related tasks as needed and assigned by department lead
You have:
The Biblical qualifications and character of a disciple – 1Timothy 3-8-12
A demonstrated love for God and a love for People. 1 John3:16
A deep devotion to Christ’s Church – Romans 12:1
A high level of experience working with people from all walks of life
A skilled and ever-growing knowledge of God’s word and the wisdom to apply it correctly - 2 Timothy 2:15
What you are required to know:

This is a full-time (45 hours/week) salary exempt position.
You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. Full time (45 hours/week)
