Description

Caltronics, a Flex Technology Group company, seeks an experienced Software Solution Sales Consultant to add to our Sales organization in the Bay Area. As an Inc 5000 fastest growing company, and a Top 50 company to sell for by Selling Power Magazine, we continue to grow again.

In this role, the Solution Consultant will be responsible for articulating the unique value proposition of portfolio software solutions to existing and potential new client accounts. As a Document Software SME, in this role, you will consult with key client decision makers to assess document environments and identify opportunities to present value-driven software and other professional services solutions. You will tailor presentations and proposals to address the specific needs and challenges of each organization and drive sales to achieve revenue quotas for an assigned territory.
This position will support Bay Area Sales teams.
Compensation range: Salary $60-80k/year Uncapped Commissions

In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Identify customer opportunities by researching CRM system, partnering with Sales Teams, and independent business development activities.
  • Acts as the software solutions subject matter expert that will provide evaluation, consultation, and assessments of the customer environment for the purposes of selling solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Build trust and credibility through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Present value-driven, compelling solution offering to customer stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed quota-driven revenue targets with solution sales.
  • Provide support to the customer during software solution installation, and provide training where needed.
  • Assist the sales department with understanding and developing the right solutions for their customers including development of software solutions and assist with proof of concepts.
  • Work with the sales department post-sale with solution roll-out and training where applicable.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a deep understanding of the software market and contribute valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand and articulate software features and benefits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address customer challenges effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Advanced Degree strongly preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in a sales or technical pre-sales role, preferably in the software industry.
  • 5 years' experience b2b sales; business development experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of software solutions such as document management, advance capture, and workflow automation.
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with basic network topology.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Technical certifications related to the products or technologies supported preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and must adhere to company vehicle driving policy requirements
