This position is primarily responsible for the shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions of our warehouse and will share local customer pick up and delivery duties. MUST have a valid driver's license, clean background, driving record (No DUI"s), and be able to pass random drug testing. What you'll be doing:

• Deliver and pick up valves and parts as required to meet customer expectations.

• Examine contents and compare packing slips for accuracy.

• Prepare documents, such as pick slips and shipping orders to route materials.

• Daily and weekly cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Pack, seal, label and affix appropriate shipping labels to prepare packages for shipping.

• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

• Retain all badges required for entry into customer facilities.

• Ensure proper documentation.

• Record shipment data for damages and discrepancies for accounting purposes.

• Other duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

• High school graduate.

• 2 previous years in a warehouse setting.

• 2 previous years in a shipping & receiving position.

• Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods, including relative costs.

• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems.

• Ability to operate company vehicles in a safe manner.

• Works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

• ERP or business software experience a plus!

• High level of accuracy.

• Uses logic and reasoning to resolve issues.

• Proficient in mathematical computation and computer skills.

Required:

• Pass and maintain all drug testing requirements for customer facility access.

• Must have a valid Driver's License and an excellent DMV/Motor Vehicle Record check.

• Must maintain excellent driving record.

• Clean background.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Willingness to work overtime as situation requires.

Hiring Range:

The hiring range for this position is $20.00-$24.00 p/hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the requirements of the position.

**Physical Demands:**

Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Position requires frequent reaching, twisting, kneeling, bending, crouching, squatting. Good visual and auditory acuity in order to function safely in a warehouse environment.

**Travel: **

Daily. Will be expected to drive a company vehicle for pick ups and deliveries. No overnight travel except for potential training.
