**JOB OVERVIEW**

Assist the Accounting Integration team with managing design, implementation and support of accounting system enhancements and integrations. Collaborate with global teams to integrate and implement corporate accounting policies, processes, controls and financial systems in a timely and effective manner. Help evaluate, recommend and implement process improvements, ensuring that consistent accounting practices are applied worldwide, and company objectives are met. Document and manage global chart of account structure, recommending and approving all account additions and changes. Assist with due diligence activities required for potential business expansion. Assist with exploration, implementation and maintenance of accounting software tools.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Assist with communication between corporate office and all brands, regions, companies within the broader organization on accounting related items. Understand and help implement consistent accounting policies, processes, controls and systems across the global Callaway organization.

* Provide support to the regions/brands on as needed basis to address integration and implementation accounting issues. This includes system design and implementation, as well as post-go-live support from an accounting perspective.

* Work with IT and other key business team members to prioritize and enhance system functionality.

* Help identify accounting process improvement opportunities; collect and document results, generate reports and provide/recommend action and improvement plans.

* Collaborate with internal teams and subsidiary locations to drive execution of project plans.

* Conduct technical research as need to support projects, transactions, policies, documentation, etc.

* Make recommendations and assist in accounting policy and procedure design and implementation in compliance with GAAP.

* Assist in finding ways to implement new tools and ideas to help management better understand and plan our business.

* Develop and document a global accounting playbook that outlines global accounting policies and procedures.

* Help the general ledger team manage global chart of account structure by reviewing and approving all new and change requests. Further, compile and maintain a global chart of account guide for all entities.

* Assist with due diligence activities for potential business expansion, including review of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

* Assist with exploration, implementation and maintenance of new accounting tools to increase efficiencies (e.g. Blackline close management tool).

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**

* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

* Strong working knowledge of accounting processes and information flows.

* Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.

* Ability to understand, interpret, and enforce corporate policies.

* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast paced environment; ability to balance significant projects and issues.

* Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.

* Excellent project management skills.

* Self-motivated and takes initiative.

* Ability to effectively work as a part of a team toward meeting company goals.

* Strong understanding of foreign currency translation and consolidations of financial statements a plus.

* Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Power Point; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

* Strong systems experience (SAP ECC and/or S4 preferred).

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required.

* Minimum 7 years of related professional experience in a financial/accounting function, in a leadership or managerial role of increasing responsibility.

* Experience working in a public company.

* Accounting manager and/or public accounting experience preferred.

* Strong systems experience preferred.

* Experience with system implementations preferred.
