DUTIES:
Diagnose variance in funnel and engagement loop metrics, provide data-driven insights, and recommend optimizing the user experience across our web properties. Measure and report on site KPIs (conversion, $/visit, revisit rates, signup rates) across critical dimensions, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity for our online experience. Own and define the experimentation process, from how we generate hypotheses to sampling to inference and decision-making. Lead analytics projects (deep dives and ad hoc analysis) to identify actionable insights and uncover areas of optimization and growth to drive greater engagement and return visits. Use SQL, Excel, third-party tools, and scripting languages to mine, access, and analyze data. Visualize and synthesize your analytics work appropriately for audiences across the spectrum (executives, marketers, etc.). Work closely with business owners to utilize our available data to design/develop tools, dashboards, and other technical solutions to scale our capabilities as we grow. Partner with Data Engineering to ensure that our data architecture supports the marketing and eCommerce organization's analytics needs. May work from home up to 3 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field plus 2 years of experience in UX, product, or digital analytics, or closely related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•2 years of experience using Excel to uncover and summarize findings for quick turnaround ad hoc requests.
•2 years of experience with SQL and data transformation.
•2 years of experience with SQL querying and data extraction/manipulation, analytical capabilities (including data forecasting and trends identification, incrementality, mix effects and cannibalization.)
•2 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, systems design, project management, cost optimization, and big data frameworks.
•2 years of experience with Hive, Hadoop, ETL, and Python.
•2 years of experience with Tableau and Analytics.
OTHER: Job Site: Carlsbad, CA. 40 hours/week; Salary range $101,920 per year - $142,200 per year. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
