Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Elite Private Practice Optometry Clinic. The Medical Office Manager will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, financial operations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the optometry office. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of medical office management. Optometry clinic experience is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the medical office, including administrative tasks, financial management, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage the scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of patient care.
- Monitor and manage the office budget, including billing, collections, and expense control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems (CrystalPM).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train office staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments within the healthcare facility to improve overall efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field preferred but not required
- Proven experience in medical office management or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of optometry office operations, financial management, and practice management.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Crystal PM) a plus but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
