Job Description Summary
Candidates will report directly to the site fore man communicating material requirements and maintenance needs.

• Load material onto haul trucks, maintain stockpiles, and road areas
• Assist with greasing and maintaining plant and equipment
• Report any accident or incident to supervisor
• Inform the supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times

• Seasonal position with overtime required during the peak season
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of mobile equipment and work areas
• Properly follow all company policies along with OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Prior experience with front-end loaders
• Although this is a daytime shift candidate must be willing to work nights and weekends as required
• Have the ability to follow through with efficiency on verbal and written instructions
• Maintain excellent attendance, and maintain a can-do, positive attitude
• Must pass a physical exam, drug screen, and background check before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required

• Must have a valid driver’s license

Education/Experience

• Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided as needed
• High school graduate or equivalent

Salary and Benefits:

• This position offers a Union rate of $28.55 per hour.
