Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing systems. Duties: - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems - Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various techniques such as welding, soldering, and gluing - Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems - Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent plumbing system failures - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions Experience: - Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Proficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes and fittings - Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work - Knowledge of pipe threading techniques - Carpentry skills are a plus Skills: - Mechanical knowledge - Welding skills - Blueprint reading - Ability to assemble and install pipes and fittings - Proficiency in maintaining plumbing systems - Maintenance Person skills for general repairs - Knowledge of pipe threading techniques - Familiarity with carpentry tools - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools We offer competitive pay based on experience.
