Position Overview: 1099 0r C2C direct contract no third party vendors allowed

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in data analytics, data governance, and technical leadership to drive the development and implementation of data analytics and governance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management principles, data quality, data integration, and data governance frameworks. They will be responsible for leading technical teams, architecting data solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of analytics and governance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data analytics and governance solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, data governance frameworks, and metadata management systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data analytics and governance requirements, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop data strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Architect scalable and robust data platforms and solutions that support advanced analytics, reporting, and data visualization requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish data governance frameworks, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to catalog and manage enterprise data assets effectively.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in data analytics and governance, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to design and implement data infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security controls to support data analytics and governance initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal functioning of data analytics and governance solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members, foster a culture of learning and collaboration, and promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• X years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on data analytics, data governance, and data management.
• Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing data analytics and governance solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in data management principles, data modeling, data integration, data quality, and data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DMBOK).
• Hands-on experience with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and experience implementing data governance controls and policies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in data analytics and governance practices.
