Position Overview:

As a Technical Architect specializing in the pharmaceutical domain and consumer data and analytics on cloud infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data and analytics solutions that meet the unique needs and challenges of our pharmaceutical clients. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and data architecture, you will lead the development and deployment of innovative solutions that enable our clients to unlock the full potential of their data and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to understand client requirements and translate them into scalable, cloud-based data and analytics solutions.

Design and architect end-to-end data pipelines and analytics platforms on cloud infrastructure, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to support data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.

Lead the implementation and configuration of cloud-based data storage solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop data integration strategies and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into cloud-based environments, adhering to best practices for data quality and governance.

Design and implement advanced analytics solutions, including machine learning models, predictive analytics, and real-time analytics, leveraging cloud-based ML/AI services and frameworks.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes, monitor system performance, and optimize resource utilization for cloud-based data and analytics solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior architects and engineers, and promoting best practices for cloud-based data architecture and design.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud computing, data analytics, and pharmaceutical domain, incorporating them into our technical roadmap and solution offerings.

Partner with client stakeholders to understand their technical requirements, address their challenges, and deliver innovative solutions that drive tangible business outcomes and ROI.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and industry best practices for data privacy and protection within the pharmaceutical domain.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical architecture roles, with a focus on consumer data and analytics within the pharmaceutical domain.

Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based data and analytics solutions, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes, with experience in building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.

Hands-on experience with cloud-based analytics tools and frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kubernetes, is highly desirable.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is preferred.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) and pharmaceutical domain knowledge are a plus.
