The Health care Providers office, a leader in wound care and G-tube management, located in Alhambra is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of human resources.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various administrative tasks within the HR department, including filing, data entry, and document management
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and appointments
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including paperwork and orientation
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide support in organizing HR projects and initiatives
- Assist with payroll tasks using QuickBooks software
- Perform general clerical duties as needed
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (in related field is a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience with project coordination is a plus
- Working experience in health care industry is a plus
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for payroll processing is desirable
- detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
