Position Description

Job Overview

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, the Administrative Coordinator for Development will provide general administrative support and assist with meetings and materials for University Advancement programs and initiatives as directed by the AVP for Development, Director of Government Relations, and Director of Communications and Marketing.

The Administrative Coordinator for Development will serve as a strategic partner for the AVP for Development, coordinate calendars and support for meetings with campus leadership, assist with events involving donors and community leaders, as well as craft and edit internal and external communications. This position interacts with high-level constituents ensuring exceptional professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

Position Summary

Administrative Coordinator for Development (Administrative Support Coordinator II)

This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3,681 - $5,200 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,681 - $6,034 per month
