Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements for Applying : Valid California Class B driver's license. Valid California School Bus Certificate. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.

Driving printout from the DMV Resume Three letters of recommendation At least three professional references, that we may contact, who have first-hand knowledge of you and your work.

At least one must be a supervisor or former supervisor. Do not list persons related to you.

NUSD is seeking School Bus Drivers - Extended Year. This 30 hour a week position offers : Kaiser, Delta Dental / Vision Services Plan, California Public Retirement System (CalPERS), paid sick leave, and 15 paid holidays.

Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens.

Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails.
