California Closets is Hiring an Edge Bander Operator Near Pottstown, PA

Key Functions: 1. Operate, calibrate, adjust, and maintain edge bander.

2. Quality control finished edge banding.

3. Manage and maintain all materials, tools, and logs for edge banding.

Responsibilities:

Edge Banding operation

· Understand and perform all proper operational and safety procedures.

· Know all proper operational temperatures, pressures, and deflections.

· Understand all stations and software of machine.

· Understand and be able to make all key adjustments.

· Maintain strict adherence to cleaning, lubricating, and maintenance of machine (Including factory maintenance schedule).

Quality Control

· Establish, maintain, and ensure highest quality of edge banding.

· Ensure that there is proper adhesion.

· Ensure that flat and radius edges are set properly.

· Ensure there are no scrapes, chips, excess material, or glue on finished product.

· Review plans to ensure that correct edges are banded.

· Get feedback from Install and Management.

Edge Banding materials, tools, and logs

· Maintain edge banding racks.

· Maintain and track edge band inventory.

· Understand and maintain all tools for edge bander.

· Establish maintenance, service, and parts logs for edge bander.

· Collaborate with Stiles to ensure services, troubleshoot issues, and order parts.
