Job Title: B2B Cannabis Sales Manager

Job Description:

We seek an experienced B2B sales manager contractor to join the CACB team. As a commission-based position, there is no limit to your earning potential, and you have the flexibility to create your schedule. You can work with a competitively priced product catalog and manage a portfolio of accounts in California. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a deep understanding of the cannabis industry in California. As a sales manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, while driving sales and revenue growth. You will be a key player in developing and executing the sales strategy and will be expected to work collaboratively with CACB leadership to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with your existing and prospective clients.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and nurturing strong relationships. You should be a self-starter with a hunter mentality, and love the idea of having the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with CRM software and sales forecasting is a plus, as is a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets. Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the California cannabis industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and account management
  • High Cannabis IQ- knows all product categories, industry lingo, cultivation and extraction methods, price points, and where a product lands on the spectrum of quality.
  • Possess an existing network of buyers and established relationships with retailers in the cannabis industry.
  • Strong ability to elicit feedback from buyers on products, including constructive criticism, and effectively communicate this feedback to CACB leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in positioning a brand using competitive analysis and value drive propositions.
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision and has a hunter mentality
  • Possess reliable transportation and be able to travel within California as needed

Responsibilities:

  • The main focus will be selling our product catalog of CA cannabis brands to licensed CA retailers.
  • There are two additional methods to earn commissions.

1.) Facilitating bulk transactions through our Benicia, CA HQ, utilizing our menu of flower, concentrates, oils, etc. (We can make ANYTHING!)

2.) Leverage our state-of-the-art facility to close whitelabel and co-packing contracts.

  • Provide excellent customer service to everyone in our network: retailers, brand teams, distributors, cultivators, and business owners.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment for retailers by communicating with distributors and CACB leadership.
  • Provide CACB leadership with brand feedback, most importantly: What is working well and what needs improvement?
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales- invoices, activities, and customer interactions.

Compensation:

  • CPG Commission-based pay structure rate of 7-5% based on completed sales
  • Brand-sponsored bonuses, competitions, and sales incentives
  • No cap on earning potential
  • Contractors that sell $200,000 in CPG a month earn a minimum of $120,000 a year
  • Commissions for bulk, white-label or co-packing widely range depending on the deal structure
