We are looking for a caring, experienced, professional individual to join our team of amazing teachers. Our center has small classroom, low teacher:child ratios, a positive work environment, great co-workers and the best children and families. Minimum Required Qualifications

• CDA or Equivalent or currently working to obtain certification
• 3 years experience as a Lead Teacher working with infants
• Verifiable references
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to pass a full background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education related Associate Degree (or currently enrolled to obtain one)
• 5 years experience as a Lead Teacher working with infants
• FOCUS trainings
• Experience working in a 4 STAR FOCUS program

• Create nurturing learning environments where infants can thrive
• Form productive, mutually respectful family partnerships
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality rating agencies
• Be kind, caring and compassionate
• Be a role model for fellow staff and the profession
• Desire/ability to implement positive guidance
• Conduct written child observations and assessments
• Write individualized lesson plans fueled by observations/assessments
• Comply with all 4 STAR FOCUS criteria
• Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement process
