Construction Superintendent

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tradesperson to join our construction department as a Superintendent. This role will focus on providing superintendent support, project support, and serve as a leader for our emergency response team, Response 24. This is a full-time position based out of our {region} office with frequent travel, including periodic travel to headquarters located in Philadelphia region.

Responsibilities

· Provide support to the Construction and emergency response departments as Project Superintendent

· Perform minor estimation duties as needed for emergency response team and the construction department as a whole

· Using experience and trade skills, provide technical support, training, and emergency response as needed

· Provide construction supervision and oversight, working closely with subcontractors

· Serve as point person for site level client relationship

· Provide recommendations to the construction department, identifying out of scope repairs and additional construction opportunities

· Work with local property managers to complete site inspections, developing maintenance plans and capital improvement future opportunities and scope of work

· Provide timely and accurate reporting to local project manager for greater company communication

· Become primary point of contact to field personnel for emergency response team, understanding best practices, industry standards, and growth opportunities to act as first responder and mitigation expert

· Maintain high level of accountability and readiness for emergency response team and all affiliated equipment

· Self-perform minor construction tasks as required

Skills

· Intermediate plumbing & carpentry skills

· Critical eye for detail and ability to problem solve with limited oversight

· Exceptional verbal, email, and telephone communication skills

· Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferable

· Ability to read construction plans and documents

Qualifications

· 2-5 years of practical field experience as a Tradesperson required

· Tradesperson credentials (Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry etc.) preferred

· Knowledge of construction equipment, facilities maintenance, or related field preferred

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Valid drivers license with clean MVR record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
