Twinfield Union School District is a PreK through Grade 12 school located in Plainfield, Vermont. It is made up of students that live in Plainfield and Marshfield. We also have some tuition students. We have approximately 310 students in grades prek-12.
We have a small town tight community within the school. We have a long time Intervention Teacher retiring creating a vacancy for next school year. We seek a person who enjoys working with elementary age students, possesses good student management techniques, embraces a collaborative environment, and recognizes the importance of UDL. We desire someone with an extensive background in reading and math.
This position provides reading and math intervention to a variety of students in Grades K-8. This position follows the Caledonia Cooperative Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement which includes but is not limited to paid time off of 15 sick days, 5 personal days, bereavement days and professional development days, teachers work 185 days in a year, free access to Talkspace, tuition reimbursement for 6 or 9 credits, delta dental insurance single coverage for free, Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance and the board pays $1900 towards the out of pocket cost of $2500. Salary is based on education level and years of experience.Prefer someone with at least one year elementary teaching experience and is endorsed in Vermont.Employee must pass a fingerprint background check, agency of human services background check and be licensed as a Vermont Teacher.
