As a Hostess you are responsible for greeting restaurant patrons with a positive friendly attitude; assuring that guests have a favorable dining experience. **SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Assign wait staff to service patrons where seated.

* Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant.

* Assisting wait staff.

* Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.

* Responsible for cleaning host area, stairway, and entrance to restaurant.

* Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.

* Other duties as assigned.

**STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**

* Knowledge of concession stand operations.

* Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.

* Oral and written communication skills.

* Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment.

* Must be able to stand for 6-8 hour shifts.

**EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**

* A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

* One-year restaurant experience preferred.

* Valid gaming license
