Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Lead Manager to join our healthcare organization. As a Senior IT Lead Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IT department, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and services within the healthcare environment. With your expertise in Microsoft products and a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, efficiency, and compliance within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
-Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
-Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the IT department.
Strategic Planning:
-Develop and implement strategic IT initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
-Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in IT systems and services to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and patient care outcomes.
Infrastructure Management:
-Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
-Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data, in compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
Application Management:
-Manage the implementation, integration, and support of healthcare-specific applications and software systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management Systems (PMS).
-Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to optimize the use of IT applications to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Vendor Management:
-Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and quality standards.
-Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions and vendors to meet the organization's evolving needs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to healthcare IT, data privacy, and security.
-Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
-Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
-Expertise in Microsoft products and technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
-Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and applications, such as EHR, PMS, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms.
-Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams, projects, and initiatives.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement
