Records Management (RIM) Analyst I

Position: Full – Time / On-Site
Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Senior RIM Analyst to support the comprehensive reviews and updates to policies and current practices, modernize and re-engineer business processes to manage records electronically, and implement various internal controls to bring the program into compliance with Federal records regulations. Provide records management and program
analyst support to Fulfill General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DoD), and National Archives & Records Administration request to evaluate all USCG programs processes/procedures.
Daily Hours of Operation are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
Core Responsibilities- SM Expertise in the following fields:
· Update status using dashboard created for monitoring implementation and reporting status through to completion for all projects/tasks
· Review NARA web records guidance, systems documentation, and supplemental information.
· Work with program stakeholders to draft records schedules for all information/data collected or posted on USCG websites and information portals as outlined in NARA Bulletins.
· Draft and disseminate notification to program leadership that failed to complete the RMSA as required by 36 CFR 1220.34(j) and/or appoint Records Coordinators 36 CFR 1220.34.
· Review current and previous FER-EMMMR results to identify program area
risk rating/compliance rating. Identify, document, track negative responses,
unaddressed, high risks, and non-compliant areas.
· Draft and disseminate Data Call Notifications requesting the identification and or update of unit/divisions Essential Records that include reference to USCG Essential Records policy/guidance.
· Compare and reconcile the Essential Records Lists with other Records
Inventory Lists and File Plans to ensure accuracy and completeness of Essential & DHS Records Inventory List.
· Review USCG Records Schedules posted on NARA Website, create SSIC and add records retention information not presently reflected in the USCG CRS.
· Update the SSIC List accordingly.
Requirements
Requirements for Candidate:
· Knowledge and experience in working with federal government/military records is required.
· Experience using Adobe, MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and MS Word), MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, and Visio.
· Knowledge of NARA database applications Electronic Records Archive (ERA), Archive and Records Centers Information System (ARCIS).
· Ability to read, interpret, and apply Federal policy, directives, and regulations.
· Experience drafting policy, point papers, detailed reports, white papers, transition plans, action plans, briefings, training, and PowerPoint presentations.
Preferred Candidates:
· BA/BS with 3 years’ relevant experience. The preferred degree would be in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management or Business Systems, but other science subjects will also be considered.
· Demonstrates strong analytical thinking skills, attention-to-detail, strong communication and writing skills, project management skills and proficiencies with Microsoft Office suite, as evidenced through accomplishments in past roles.
