Front Desk Receptionist needed at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center, a recreation facility that offers tennis and pickleball lessons with 16 lighted tennis courts and 4 lighted pickleball courts, a junior tennis academy, fitness classes, a heated jr. olympic swimming pool, fitness classes and gym facilities set in the heart of Calabasas, CA.
Candidate must be at least 18 years old to apply. As the face of the Center, the successful candidate must be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people skills. Applicant must have a talent for multitasking, exceptional communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must! Candidate must be able to problem solve with a positive attitude and remain professional under pressure. Ideal candidate should be looking for part time work, around 18-25 hours a week, and must be available to work nights (facility is open until 10PM during the week), weekends and some holidays. Flexibility is a plus! This is a great opportunity for local college students or anyone with extensive customer service skills. This is not a seasonal summer only job.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, providing thorough customer service to membership and community, answering a multi-line phone system, scheduling reservations for tennis, pickleball and fitness classes, taking payments for a plethora of activities, assisting tennis professionals adjust daily schedules, distributing incoming mail, maintaining flyers and copier, and keeping lobby/work space neat and sanitized.
