Job Title: Frontload Driver

Cal-Waste Recovery Systems is looking for a full-time Frontload Driver. Cal-Waste is a
premiere recycling and waste recovery company servicing the Sacramento, San
Joaquin and Calaveras County areas. Cal-Waste is a family-owned business 97 years

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Route Supervisor, Frontload Drivers are responsible for servicing
containers filled with waste or recyclable material. At times the driver is required to
maneuver wheeled containers to be serviced. Driver will also transport the material to a
disposal, transfer or recycle facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing the pick-up service of containers filled with waste or

• Driver navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and

Supervisor and Customer Service to improve route efficiencies and identify best
practices.

• Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

• 1 years of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
