The General Manager is responsible for direct managementoversight of a high volume, complex location, including an in-house quick serverestaurant.Oversees and ensures thatthe overall store condition complies with company standards including;cleanliness, store and food service, sanitation, customer service andmerchandising – thereby maximizing store profitability, expense control,inventory levels and shortage control. The General Manager ensures quality andconsistent marketing and merchandising of store and food service programs. Responsiblefor store employee recruitment, hiring, training, discipline and firing whennecessary; while fostering a coaching environment where team members want toexcel and are recognized for their achievements. This is a salaried, exemptposition with an expectation of a 50 hr workweek, or whatever is necessary toeffectively manager and oversee the location.
