ANNOUNCEMENTOFPOSITIONVACANCY

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision, the Crew Member position provides a wide level of basic maintenance and guest operations support for the operation in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO:

  • Prepares conference facilities and meeting rooms for groups and various meetings and activities.
  • Provides and assists with equipment setup (i.e.: audio visual, VCR and monitors, projectors, cameras, sound systems, etc.).
  • Provides professional customer service to all guests of the center and respond to in-house radio communications.
  • Using proper cleaning techniques and applying proper safety standards, maintains cleanliness of conference rooms, restrooms and building facilities. Vacuums and shampoos carpets as needed, strips and waxes floors.
  • Assist with minor maintenance repairs of all equipment and facilities, including hotel guestrooms, conference facilities and other areas of KW as needed.
  • Reports faulty equipment, apparent safety hazards and any needed building repairs immediately.

  • Conduct yourself in an honest, conscientious, and courteous manner at all times, showing respect for persons of all backgrounds, races, genders, interests, and abilities.
  • Develop individual respect for everyone, respect for personal and the University as a whole.
  • Understand food health and safety regulations to ensure safety of guests.
  • Ability to adhere to a regular work schedule which may include weekends/evenings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures to variety of situations.
  • Ability to be resourceful and to take initiative.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a multi-ethnic environment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules; open to new ideas and adaptable to changing technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid CA driver’s license and insurance
