Marketing Coordinator (temporary position to fill in for maternity leave)

Job Description

Cain & Company is looking for a talented marketing coordinator to support our account executives with the planning and implementation of marketing projects for clients across a variety of industries. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented, and has excellent written and oral communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

o Write, proofread, and edit branded marketing content for digital ads, websites, blogs, brochures and other sales materials, email marketing, etc.

o Coordinate effective marketing plans for clients in different industries, including industrial and manufacturing, construction, healthcare, finance, politics, and more.

o Support account executives with writing proposals, managing projects, servicing accounts, and other administrative tasks.

o Work with outside vendors such as printers, photographers, trade show exhibit vendors, freelancers and more.

o Travel to and support marketing efforts at industry trade shows.

Skills/Qualifications

o Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field

o Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional environment

o Writing experience (preferably in an agency setting or with marketing content)

o Working knowledge of general marketing principles, especially evolving marketing tactics such as social media marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising, content marketing, and marketing automation

o Effective analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

o Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently

o Strong customer service skills

o Bonus points for experience with marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, SharpSpring, Hootsuite, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
