Job Description:

As a Barista at Cafecito Social, you'll be more than just a coffee maker; you'll be an ambassador for Guatemalan coffee culture. We're seeking individuals who are passionate about coffee, eager to explore the nuances of various beans and blends, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements:

• Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about Guatemalan coffee beans, blends, and regions.
• Previous experience working in a busy environment with strong multitasking skills.
• Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to creating a warm and inclusive environment for both team members and customers.
• Food Handler’s License.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including mastering latte art (training provided).
• Familiarize yourself with the café's recipes and ingredients to provide informed menu explanations to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and storage of equipment and tools.
• Efficiently multitask to handle customer orders during busy periods.
• Work 8-10 hour shifts on weekdays and weekends as needed.
