Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow food safety guidelines in the preparation and handling of food items
- Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries, as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Ensure that all drink orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings and promotions
- Use Aloha POS system to process orders and track inventory

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is desirable

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience. This position is full-time or part-time depending on availability.
