Company Overview

JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in steering the pricing strategy for a large multi-unit organization with a nationwide footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing competitive pricing, managing market surveys, identifying pricing opportunities based on changing customer segments, and ensuring our pricing structure aligns with both micro and macroeconomic trends. The goal is to optimize our pricing to remain competitive while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Draft Strategic Pricing Plans and Improve Existing Processes – a. Perform Competitor Analysis Process – i. Collaborate with Cadence vendors to gather competitor pricing data and oversee data scrubbing before going into Cadence data warehouse. ii. Work with local field operators to gather competitor data in a structured way on a yearly basis

b. Maintain Price Models – i. Evaluate and propose adjustments to the pricing structure to foster customer loyalty and attract new customers, considering service delivery costs and customer lifetime value. ii. Update master price models and integrate statistical modeling methods to assess potential profitability impacts. iii. Integrate final process and pricing changes into historical company documentation.

c. Oversee Price Implementation Process – i. Collaborate with field operations and front office to establish scalable pricing structures and processes. ii. Develop pricing templates within the POS system.

d. Collaboration and Reporting – i. Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to gather insights and align pricing strategies with overall business objectives. ii. Prepare and present reports on pricing strategies, market analysis, and competitive landscape to senior management. iii. Lead efforts with marketing on timing around price changes, communications, and customer notifications.

e. Research, Audits & Reporting – i. Research industry and systems-level best practices for pricing in collaboration with Data Analytics and System teams. ii. Monitor micro and macroeconomic trends impacting pricing strategies and market demand. iii. Continuously audit pricing structure within systems for compliance and assess effectiveness of discounts and promotional strategies. iv. Report on main competitor trends based on current and past competitor data. v. Manage competitor data infrastructure.  2. Project Management – a. Lead pricing-related initiatives including updating pricing models, maintaining competitor rate databases, and coordinating analytics department efforts. b. Support Analytics team in project management of current pricing plans, overseeing team collaboration and resource allocation. c. Coordinate deliverables across departments and collaborate with the Analytics Team. d. Examine and reengineer Pricing processes to support the organization’s growth. e. Ensure deliverables meet company guidelines, brand standards and deadlines. 3. Special Projects – a. Provide support for projects, initiatives and directives as assigned. b. Report, manage, and update various company-wide programs related to pricing initiatives. c. Work closely with Operations and/or the Regional Director on an as needed basis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in basic SQL (querying, joins, etc). • Strong knowledge of modelling techniques in Excel. • Strong knowledge of intermediate to advanced Excel functions (vlookup, xlookup, sumifs, etc).• Must demonstrate ability to be self-directed, as well as demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail.• Must be able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to change quickly and positively. • Willingness and ability to learn new skills as needed.• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.• Must be influential, persuasive, communicative with strong administrative abilities.• Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Education or equivalency:

• A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Experience:

• Requires a minimum of three (3) years of pricing analytical related experience that demonstrates a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
