Cactus Wellhead, LLC - Job Board is Hiring an Operations Coordinator Near Odessa, TX

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the Branch with the day-to-day responsibilities guaranteeing availability/accessibility/efficiency/delivery/problem solving and manufacturing of equipment dictated by region or customer demand.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Comply with all quality, safety, health, environmental requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position.
  • Inventory/Operations – Sourcing/locating non product inventory items and materials at outside vendors as needed, working with operations to produce items, forecasting future requirements, coordinating with branch to move equipment as efficiently as possible.
  • Purchasing – Assisting inventory planners at the branch level, assisting and setting safety stocks, signing off on purchases by branch associates, forecasting commodity items/manufactured equipment, contacting vendors to determine material availability and negotiate pricing, contacting vendors for past due POs and expediting POs, approving/disapproving PORs. Prepares and approves purchase orders or bid requests for branch supplies.
  • Quotations – Creating quotes as needed, reviewing quotes and advising on what inventory to utilize, reviewing quotation pricing, assisting in costing equipment for quotes. Working with Operations and Service Managers at the branch to present equipment and available services in a customized format.
  • Distributing/redistributing assets between the branches. Assist branch in developing an efficient repair process, working with vendor to ensure proper repairs.
  • Assist corporate salesmen in setting up and executing customer visits and equipment stack ups at the branches. Assist with coordinating of branch orders, updating the branch with changes.
  • Training – Providing answers for employees that need assistance with procedural, process, or Syteline related questions and issues.
  • Pricing – Improving our current customer contract pricing methods, breaking down different ways pricing is initiated within Syteline, create price books for each customer, determine correct pricing and validate pricing with estimate or SRO, solve pricing discrepancies between branches or by specific equipment, create pricing strategies, assist with creation and execution of Cactus price book, assessing current/past pricing of all customers in our database, approving/disapproving/reviewing pricing for sales and at the branch level.
  • Branch Operations – Assist with day-to-day operation needs, meeting with inventory and operations team to ensure all equipment needs and customer requirements are met, checking shop/branch procedures to ensure that everyone knows and understands their duties and responsibilities and how they relate to the overall process, evaluating branch employees’ effort to ensure that everyone is operating/functioning at an acceptable level.
  • Non product inventory – Assist with day to day branch administrating. Conduct inventories, distributing counts for branch. Assist with prep. Assist with system movements and physical movements of equipment. Conduct post-mortem inventory meeting with branch management to discuss the outcome of each branches non product inventory and final count/numbers.
  • Special projects or assignments as directed by management.

Education, Training, Experience: College or University program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None required

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Equipment/wellhead/gate valve knowledge, a strong understanding of the operations of the company. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well with people. A strong Syteline background. A proper understanding of trim/material/grade is helpful as well as how different materials are interchangeable/can be upgraded. Specialized computer skills, highly advanced language skills, advanced mathematical skills, and highly advanced reasoning skills.
