In this role you will review, update, and organize existing documentation. You will ensure content is reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure documentation is update to date, understandable, and meets established guidelines. Responsibilities include interviewing technical personnel and gathering data for technical documentation. The technical writer will coordinate and implement quality-control activities required to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of documentation, including peer reviews, editing for compliance with all applicable specification and standards. The technical writer will coordinate and gather all navy comments toward documentation and oversee the adjudication of all comments. You'll Bring These Qualifications * BA/BS in Communications or related discipline
* Excellent communicator and teamwork skills including willingness
* to consult subject matter experts from engineering or
* management. * 3 years of technical writing experience.
* Strong Microsoft Office experience and Adobe Acrobat Pro
* Ability to prioritize tasks/projects in order to meet deadline and capable of handling multiple requests simultaneously.
