Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems/Network Engineer Honolulu, Hawaii to support a Navy customer. Apply and be a part of our dynamic team!

The engineer will be a self-starter and support the daily operations and maintenance of the Windows Server 2016/2019 infrastructure consisting of virtual/physical servers. Responsibilities also include administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Exchange. Exchange administration includes the DAG configuration, OWA, backups, storage and all related Exchange issues.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Install, configure, and administer Microsoft servers as well as the following services:
  • Active Directory
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • Exchange
  • GPOs
  • HBSS/ESS
  • KMS
  • PowerShell
  • SCCM
  • SQL Server
  • WSUS
• Deploy system images and updates via SCCM
• Install, configure, and administer VMware vCenter Server Applicance (VCSA) and vCenter
• Install, configure, and administer NetApp storage
• Install, configure, and administer Windows workstations as well as third-party desktop software
• Provide inputs for HW/SW upgrade requirements
• Troubleshoot incidents and problems
• Support network engineer team members

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• BS in IT or IT management and 4 years of direct experience in deployment, systems administration, and field support of systems and applications based on MS Windows platforms and virtual machines or 7 years same experience
• MCSE or MCSA or MCTS or equivalent(s)
• CompTIA Security

• Experience supporting Navy and Intelligence Community civilian and military customers
• Experience with ACAS
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2013 or higher
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
• Experience with VMware 6 or higher
• Knowledge of Ethernet and CAT6E cabling standards plus the ability to terminate RJ-45 connectors
• Knowledge of roaming profiles
