CACI is Hiring a Spanish Language Instructor Near Park, UT

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Deliver foreign language training to adult language professionals
  • Tailor approach to student learning styles and strategies
  • Work as part of a teaching team
  • Interact with course developers, curriculum managers, and other instructors to assist with design and implementation of training
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress to the Government. All learning assessments correlate with or directly support unit/topic/course objectives;
  • Supplement instruction with contemporary authentic material

More About the Role:

  • Use basic classroom technology to include audio/video/DVD components, and computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities
  • Ensure all course delivery meets standards in ADET Instruction I-04
  • Utilize technology such as Apple iBooks Author, ePubs, SmartBoard/Symposium and Blackboard

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Native capability in Russian and at least an ILR level 2 proficiency in English (OR native capability in English and a 3/3 Spanish)
  • 5 years’ experience teaching adult language education and methodology
  • 3 years’ experience preparing and presenting face-to-face language instruction within a formal language environment
  • 2 years’ experience finding and using authentic materials to support learning objectives
  • 6 months experience using appropriate language fonts, keyboards, and language training software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or two additional years of teaching adults)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience teaching translation, grammar, listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing.
