Senior Weapons Intelligence Analyst (WTI) / EOD Tech Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US * Responsible for advising, assisting, and training US and designated non-US forces, allowing them to operate more effectively, efficiently and safely in an IED-laden or high-threat environment. Activities and knowledge include; Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), improvised threat defeat, Asymmetric Warfare, Counter-Insurgency Operations, Foreign Internal Defense and conventional operations. Employs expertise in doctrine; tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs); and mission sets associated with Special Operations and General Purpose Forces. Activities provide advisory support to deployed forces (both US and foreign); conduct unit debriefs of redeployed forces, participate in training missions and pre-deployment activities, participate in information exchanges as requested by Combatant Commanders (CCMDs), and advise organizations on lessons learned and effectiveness of deployed technology. Deploys and embeds with units operating in high threat environments, during combat operations, to observe, collect, develop, validate, and disseminate emerging CIED and threat TTPs. Assists US forces and specified non-US forces in the identification, training, and integration of enduring and emerging C-IED and other counter asymmetric threat technologies. Employs specialized experience to include assessments of unit proficiency, designing and implementing training and education plans to address validated gaps in unit performance, training in cross-cultural communications, human capital development, or conflict management. Maintain M9/M4, or equivalent, weapons' qualifications. Hiring Requirements * What You'll Get to Do: Perform technical intelligence analysis of IED and other improvised weapon system incidents, fusing the intelligence with other forensic data and all-source intelligence data to provide attribution of individuals and groups to devices and events. Analyze devices and events to determine technical profiles and signatures. Through the links discovered, analysts identify insurgent and IED networks, which include leaders, facilitators, financiers, cell members and bomb makers to identify potential targets for possible lethal and non-lethal action. Use these analytical conclusions to support Level II exploitation labs and other expeditionary facilities across the globe. More About the Role: The senior analyst must be proficient in analytical tradecraft skills to assess new analytical assignments and assume primary responsibilities for specific production requirements. As required, the senior analyst will represent the program and NGIC at intelligence forums and coordinate customer engagement visits with CONUS-based tactical units. The senior analyst must be comfortable with integrating analysis CITP's all-source target development analysts, as well as NGIC's IED Branch, Combat Incident Analysis Division, Identity Intelligence Division and the large C-IED community. The senior will work independently and lead a small team to integrate analytical findings into the Intelligence Cycle, F3EAD and the development of force protection countermeasures. Must be capable of fusing exploitation data with recognized analytical tradecraft directives and apply trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, network link diagrams, pattern of life (POL) analysis and large data manipulation to prepare assessments. Should possess strong technical expertise and operational experience with data research tools on, SIPRNET and JWICS search engines. Must demonstrate experience in researching multiple intelligence databases and producing intelligence products IAW ICD directives. Must be able to prepare and present formal targeting analysis products at the tactical through operational level. Prepare and present intelligence briefings and presentations. Evaluate information reporting and sources. The analyst is expected to meet global deployment requirements in often austere and hazardous operational environments. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * A current TS/SCI security clearance.
* Government trained intelligence analysts, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) specialists, or electronics technicians with a minimum of 8-years of experience; however, on a case-by-case basis a badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least 8 years' experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency or EOD technical is acceptable.
* Requires a Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or 12-years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree.
* This position requires a minimum of a 6-months deployment.
* Knowledgeable of improvised explosives, devices and their uses. Understand trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis and network or social network analysis.
* Experienced with data processing systems such as DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS search engines. Working knowledge of i2 Analyst Notebook, AXIS Pro, WebTAS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth
* Proficient at using basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development; possess strong research and writing skills; and be capable of effectively operating alone in support of tactical, strategic and special operations forces conducting
* Possess any of the following MOS: 18C, 180A, 31D, 311D, 35D 35F, 350F, 35T, 35S, 89D, 94F, 94E, or DoD joint service equivalent, or civilian 0132, 1811.
