Job Description:

CACI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology/Information Assurance Manager to provide leadership and oversight to a team responsible for the implementation, management, and security of USG information systems and technology solutions. As the IT/IA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information, while supporting the overall mission readiness of the Army. Your exceptional managerial and leadership skills will be essential in guiding and empowering your team to deliver outstanding results.

Information Technology Management:

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the USG to understand their technical requirements and ensure efficient and effective system deployment.
  • Manage and support the integration of various software applications, databases, and network systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve IT operations and enhance functionality.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Provide strategic direction, guidance, and supervision to a team of IT professionals, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members, encouraging their growth and supporting their career aspirations.

Information Assurance / Compliance Reporting:

  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate countermeasures.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including investigating and resolving security breaches or unauthorized access incidents.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to proactively address potential risks.
  • Prepare and submit reports on IT operations, security incidents, and system performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in audits and assessments of IT infrastructure and information systems to validate compliance and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate the continuous monitoring of systems, utilizing scanning tool such as Security Content Automation Protocols (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) or (TENABLE, NESSUS), & Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs).
  • Execute patch management system solution and Microsoft quarterly system updates to ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
  • Prepare, disseminate, and maintain plans, instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) concerning the information systems and networks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10 or more years’ experience in information technology management, preferably in a defense contractor or military environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, encryption, and access controls.
  • Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, DISS, and FISMA.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or CompTIA Security .
  • Industry knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
