What You’ll Get to Do:

Seeking an experienced information systems security officer (ISSO) to support mission systems. You’ll be a seasoned ISSO performing a wide variety of duties including coordinating and implementing information systems security policies, standards and methodologies. You’ll be a professional capable of applying policies and standards, while ensuring security requirements are met for classified systems, enforcing compliance requirements, and good judgement to achieve both short and long terms goals as established by the client.

As an ISSO, you will perform services from analyzing system requirements, to maintaining system security plans and other IA documentation, as well as collaborating with other engineers regarding compliance and restrictions of systems and related custom products.

More About the Role:

• Collaborate with all levels of technical engineers to sustain mission critical systems, in an operational environment, through the system life cycle. 
• Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program.
• Obtain Certification & Accreditation for Information Systems under your purview and serve as the approval authority.
• Provide support for a program, organization, system or enclave’s information assurance program.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Manage and control changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those change.
• Serve as the Approval Authority for ISs under their control.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science and ten (10) years’ experience as an Information Systems Security Officer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.  Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications:

• Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher is required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experience in two (2) of the following areas:
  • Knowledge of current security tools
  • Knowledgeable of ODNI and DoD policies
  • Hardware/Software security implementation

A “TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly” clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.
