Cache County is Hiring a Human Resource Specialist Near Logan, UT

Are you detail-oriented, deadline-driven, friendly, and have 2 or more years of experience in Human Resources? The Cache County Human Resources Office seeks a Human Resources Specialist to implement our recruiting strategy. We are looking for an HR Specialist with initiative and creativity to take our recruitment to the next level!

The HR specialist will act as a recruiter, admin assistant, records manager, and employee liaison. The HR Specialist will have knowledge of human resource management theory, methods, practices, and employment law. Experience with the Utah Retirement System and Caselle is a plus.

Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field; AND 2 or more years of work experience in human resources, including but not limited to basic HR functions and recruitment and selection activities, OR an equivalent of education and experience; PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired, or ability to obtain certification in the first year.

The HR Specialist must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; maintain quality work production while dealing with various deadline pressures; make basic decisions where established procedures do not always apply; operate a computer and apply various program applications related to word processing, spreadsheets, and desktop publishing.

This is a full-time benefitted position working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
