PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Must comply with all aspects of safety and be extremely safety conscious Have basic troubleshooting skills in the following areas: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic controls & hydraulic controls. Advanced troubleshooting of all of these systems is expected to be developed on the job. Pipe fitting and installation (air lines, water piping, electrical conduit) Responsible for providing own personal tools (specialty tools provided by plant) Willing to work weekends and odd hours as required Willing to work on other shifts if needed Able to follow a routine schedule of preventative maintenance on machinery Able to read and follow parts and instruction manuals Train on boiler operation to serve as backup as needed Great problem solving/decision making skills Team attitude and ability to work with team member Operate and run, safely, any power tool in shop The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
