The Material Handler transports raw materials and finished goods across operations and from building to building using company vehicles and forklifts. The position will assist other departments as needed with shipping, receiving, utility and production tasks. This position requires a valid driver’s license and clear driving record as well as experience moving large items using a sit-down forklift.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished product between multiple buildings using Company vehicles.
• Transport raw materials and finished product between multiple buildings using sit-down forklift.
• Deliver raw materials and products to designated locations within operations.
• Execute loading and unloading of goods.
• Perform work in a safe manner following work instructions.
• Work closely with the scheduler and operations on daily and weekly needs and priorities.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities and procedures of multiple areas within production to fill in when needed.
• Accurately complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in good working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
